SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships

Below is a brief outline of scholarships available for Pinnacle Career Institute's students. Please check with your admissions or financial aid coordinator for a better understanding of scholarship opportunities, eligibility requirements, and potential award amounts.

Note: Only one PCI grant or scholarship may be received by a student per program and may not be exchanged for cash or exceed the direct cost of tuition, fees, and institutional charges.

The list of scholarship opportunities below does not have set deadlines associated with the application process. All are considered open, rolling enrollments and may be applied for at any time throughout the year — with one exception noted below for the Missouri Fast Track Grant, which is a state program with its own residency, income, and annual funding requirements.

PCI Adult Learner Scholarship

The PCI Adult Learner Scholarship is an award established to assist adult learners in their quest for higher education. The PCI ALS is a one-time grant provided to qualified adult students planning to attend Pinnacle Career Institute. An application may be submitted by speaking with a financial aid counselor and filling out the scholarship form. The scholarship is awarded if all PCI criteria are met and if there is exceptional financial need after all other Title IV and outside sources have been awarded for the direct cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Students must apply prior to the beginning of the program.

PCI Adult Learner Scholarship Student Qualifications

  • Enroll in a PCI Program
  • Meet all admissions requirements of the institution
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
  • Not be a previous recipient of any other PCI scholarships
  • Only applicable to the direct cost of tuition; award amounts are based on program enrollment

Scholarship application and required documents must be provided to the financial aid coordinator prior to the planned term of attendance. This scholarship must be applied for annually. If a student withdraws and re-enters, they must re-apply.

PCI Tuition Assistance Military Scholarship

Pinnacle Career Institute recognizes and appreciates the service of our military men and women. The PCI Tuition Assistance Military Scholarship is specifically provided to assist eligible military personnel using their Tuition Assistance (TA) military benefits to cover all or some of the remaining direct cost of their academic program beyond direct costs covered by their Tuition Assistance military benefits.

In order to qualify for this scholarship a student must:

  • Be an eligible military service man/woman with Tuition Assistance benefits
  • Complete and sign a scholarship application
  • Meet all admissions requirements
  • Maintain full-time enrollment in a certificate or degree program
  • Provide documentation from the Education Officer specifically confirming Tuition Assistance eligibility as well as the approved benefit amount for each PCI academic year
  • Provide proof of military benefit by providing a Certificate of Eligibility
  • Complete all necessary requirements for the military to process the military benefit monies; TA authorization vouchers must be provided by the student directly to the school
  • Meet continued responsibility to certify each term with the Education Officer and forward the TA authorization voucher to PCI
  • Meet responsibility to annually re-apply for TA benefit in October for each year enrolled in the program
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as defined in the PCI catalog

Scholarship eligibility and award amounts are determined based on direct education program costs, military benefits, and any other applicable federal grants or scholarships, and may not exceed the direct cost of tuition, fees, books, and other institutional charges. Scholarship application and required documents are to be provided to the financial aid coordinator prior to the planned term of attendance. This scholarship must be applied for annually, and if a student withdraws and re-enters, they must re-apply.

Student Success Scholarship

The Student Success Scholarship is an institutional scholarship designed to support previously enrolled students who withdrew from their program and wish to return to complete their training. This scholarship is intended to assist eligible students in overcoming barriers to completion, encourage persistence, support successful program completion, and promote entry into their chosen career field.

Eligible re-entry students may qualify for scholarship assistance if they originally began their program between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, subsequently paused enrollment, and are seeking re-entry. Additional eligibility requirements apply — speak with your financial aid coordinator for details, including potential award amounts.

Legacy Scholarship

The Legacy Scholarship is dedicated to assisting immediate family members of PCI students and alumni. Immediate family members, including spouses, children, siblings, and parents, of current PCI students or graduates may be eligible for a Legacy Scholarship to be used toward tuition at PCI. The graduate family member must have graduated within 10 years of the immediate family member applying for this scholarship, and application must be made prior to the beginning of the program.

Missouri Fast Track Grant

State program — not a PCI scholarship

The Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant is a state-funded program from the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development. It is not administered or funded by PCI — PCI simply participates as an eligible training provider. It supports adults training in high-demand fields, including HVAC and wind technology. Unlike PCI's own scholarships above, this program has income and residency requirements and is subject to available state funding each year.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Meet Missouri residency requirements or applicable military/military spouse residency provisions
  • Be 25 years or older. If younger, have not been enrolled in any prior schooling for the last two years
  • Meet the program's age or prior-school-enrollment requirements
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Meet current income eligibility requirements established by the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development
  • Not already hold a bachelor's degree
  • Complete the FAFSA

How to Apply

Submit the FAFSA, create an account on the Missouri State Financial Aid Portal (web.dhewd.mo.gov/studentportal), complete the Fast Track application, enroll in an eligible PCI program, and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
